Michelle, for all you know that guy may be making an over the top remark. After all no one can sue him for saying so. Regardless, I personally think that the bulls claim of wage inflation being non-existent is a myth by itself. Here is why:
0. Wage inflation is measured as the rise in compensation for the same job you are doing at the same firm.
1. If you change jobs (within the same company or to another company) to a same position with higher wage it doesn;t count as inflation.
2. If you are promoted in you job with higher pay, it is not wage inflation.
3. Stock option and bonus compensation doesn't count.

Read this list again and tell me if it is not a laughing stock!
