Paul, before you laugh, consider Dell's strength. There is virtually no R&D spending. They leverage off of INTC and other legitimate tech companies. Instead, their stock in trade is efficient marketing and assembling. That's why they are able to turn in sterling numbers quarter after quarter. Numbers like ROIC approaching 200% and negative CCCs. That means that the company can grow at exceptionally rapid rates.

The only problem with the computer business is Dell already controls a large slice of the market. That means that Dell's growth rate is constrained by the over-all industry growth rate. Show me another industry where Dell can migrate its business model and I will show you a re-emergence of 60% per annum growth. BTW, that's what we're seeing in the enterprise lines.
