Fred,

I disagree. The information contained in the quarterly report looks fine. Small changes in insurance industry #'s is nothing compared to the CHEAP float BRK gets to use. Flight #'s are up SUBSTANTIALLY.

Deductions due to Goodwill up substantially due to acquisition of Gen Re (I assume).

Stock price dropped due to uneducated reports of the financials. Nothing to blow you away but NO reason for the backtrack. IMHO.

later and long on BRK. Remember, we're up nearly 100% from two years ago. YOU MUST have multiple-year time-frames in mind to be a successful BRK investor.

later, leroyt

Amen Fred....
BTW - our wonderful stock portfolio now includes Dunkin' Donuts.
Buffet bought 2.5% of the British parent.

I'm less than impressed.
