Ray,

We all know, those of us who are invested in AIPN, that what you post is strictly accurate. You have been sucked into a vortex with the gang who can not shoot straight. The margins on the asphalt are in the specialized polymerization process and the high season for the asphalt is now and the refinery will now crank.

Stop playing their game if you like, AIPN is going higher and they are a team with an agenda.

I am not telling you what to do and very much appreciate your insightful responses.

"The issue with such statements as this is not "free speech". The issue is that of being reasonably honest in presentation."

I respectfully disagree. First my statements are my honest beliefs -- how can you possibly suggest that I am not exercising a right to "free speech"? My comments are exactly what I believe. The statement was made several times yesterday in hopes that there could be productive dicussion on the 10Q.

Instead what we got was some "whining" from others suggesting that it was not appropriate to have discussion on issues because of mysterious statements like " potential investors might be reading". I know better than to think you believe that way Ray. And I would like to believe that you also think it is appropriate for the community here to openly express their opinions on the 10Q.

So I repeat, my belief is that the fact that the refinery is buying asphalt instead of making their own is a problem with operational economics; that every investor oughta think about.

You say:

"Your statement, to be reasonably accurate, should bring out that ONLY during the low-sales season and ONLY at the present level of overall yearly sales of REGULAR asphalt does the refinery find it cheaper to buy from larger refineries. As it stands, your statement is very misleading."

I personally don't believe that my statements need to make the points about seasonality as you say. I have read those "excuses" by the company and others can too. I am not hiding them just because I don't feel obligated to repeat them. I don't believe anything I have said is inaccurate or less than accurate because I do not agree with what is said about the refinery problem being merely a seasonal issue.

I believe the company has a fundamental economic problem if they can't run the refinery on an economic basis for 12 months out of the year- even if a low month or two occurs. The whole fact that they and other refiners can buy cheaper from a larger refinery is the whole reason that virtually all refiners in the Gulf Coast are shut down.

You say:

". Shouldn't an investor be informed of all of these things - in proper perspective?"

The 10Q makes such claims as do company PR. I repeat --- I question them and believe there is a bigger issue with this and other small refiners n the Gulf Coast area.

But for the sake of appropriate discussion, I suggest it is YOURS and others obligations to speak up on these points if in fact you believe them -- not expect someone who does not to defend them.

What this thread and others must avoid is attempts by certain individuals to discourage open debate -- pro and con. It should especially not be discouraged by people just because they think they have not been successful in their attempts to pry into others personal lives.

Meanwhile I think they 10Q pointed out numerous issues; Razor should be thanked for his efforts to point them out despite being attacked in the process. You might notice that other individuals on other threads have picked up on many of the same issues.

Of course the Doc may dismiss this as a conspiracy :-)
