" Yes, it is in our interest, if not obligation, to speak to these and other points. However, if we and you do not routinely employ some reasonable consideration of the whole picture, we create unnecessarily contentious exchanges - and lose credibility as well. It is important that the thrust of the messages be to explain our views, not merely repeat them like mantras. It is the substance, insofar as there is some, behind our views that is of real value. I think your full post surrounding the above quote has quite a few unsubstantiated opinions, and is a good example of what I do not need nor care about. While you are certainly free to have any opinions you want, I and most others would rather hear more about why you have these relentlessly negative beliefs.
