rude..."create a new horizon" i've tried to voice the need for dell to move from a defensive posture to an aggressive "visionary" stance...it has nothing to do with the day to day dell business which is an incredible continuing saga...."the new horizon" can be created instantly by "jawboning", as in damage control ....the obvious is they are an extremely profitable hardware company...the market demands esoterics and mystery...no need to talk numbers, more important "future direction" it's a game, but it must be played and with impeccable execution.....as did gerstner and platt...i fear msd will be beaten by his own perfection by a market that is very faulty in understanding same...the "truth" has little bearing on the "perception"....imho, ed a.
