Jerry, I am not expecting the same strength for cmgi on this split as in the past. The strength will come later, and I'll be shorting puts into each wave as the stock trades within its range.

Stocks seem "pinned" for expiry now, so I'll let the unwinding of options complete.

<i lost about $3000 on the trade>

Piker. I've lost much more money than that and quite often, as well.

<options i know as much as they do>

I dunno. To give credit where credit is due the guy who lectured I have known for years through a traders E-Mail list. He is a CBOE MM and an officer of the Exchange. I think he had to tailor the Seminar to the audience. Even though it was billed as an advanced seminar that designation is somewhat relative.

I was charmed to see all the people writing down the title of Natenburg's book on Options when he mentioned it. We were speaking of that book two years ago on Tech Stock Options.

Too bad your wife's family messed up your birthday plans. I imagine a dirty water dog in Philly may be a bit more reasonable than lunch at the Plaza in NYC, however.
