alohal...pretty weak damage control...

just the same repetition of the obvious..the mantra is boring...need some freshness, verve, panache...the difference between a macadamia and a peanut....if management not invested in dell's success, then who is...from the great philosopher of the family jackson..." what have you done for me lately".......

To all - Re: The PC Industry - is Dell the right place to be for the long term?

Just to take our minds off the near term, which will soon become a thing of the past, and focus on the long term - we mostly intend to be long term investors don't we? - here's a good article on the PC industry over the mid-term - what I refer to as the "Andy Grove vision".

nytimes.com

I'm interested in what Dell's vision is, whether they have expressed a vision of Dell's future <via white papaer or otherwise> and whether Dell is adapting.

And whether you think that Dell is the right investment for the long term.
