Michael,

Sorry, but I am not going to enter a subjective debate about what is "well enough". I am talking numbers here (that IMO DELL EPS growth will be 20%+ for the next 4-6 Qs), which you were gutsy enough to dismiss, but seem to be chickening at the proposal of a 1 dollar bet (lost too much money in DELL puts?). <VBG>

How about this, can we substitute credibilities for dollar?

For the record, I am still long DELL (diversified as always). Can you ppropose a better investment to me (not options, which is speculative)?

-BGR.

"I never said that Dell would not temporarily outperform the dying industry"

Mike, you wonder why you get slimed? with wee exagerations like this one?

From the customer's point of view, the pc industry is going great guns -- we're buying more than ever, cheaper than ever.

I admit it's a bit painful when you look at pc revenues -- but whatever bumps in the road are on the way, I think many other industries would love to be in such "death throes", capacity glut & all.
