RESEARCH ALERT-Boeing <BA.N> raised to strong buy

MINNEAPOLIS, May 19 (Reuters) - Dain Rauscher Wessels said Wednesday it raised its rating on Boeing Co. to strong buy from buy, saying the worst was probably over for the aerospace giant that has been forced to fire thousands of employees because of a downturn in demand.

"Based on recent better-than-expected first-quarter results and recent improving outlook for its Asian business, we believe the worst is behind Boeing with respect to its recent financial difficulties and the Asian impact on its business," analyst Robert Toomey said in a research note.

"Despite the recent increase in stock price, we believe there is considerable remaining upside for the stock given the improving fundamental outlook," Toomey said.

Toomey said the downside risk for Boeing was diminishing as the Asian outlook improved and the company resolved production problems.

The stock was up 10/16 at 44-5/16.

Chip,
Getting out dead money and moving it to something you're more comfortable with is a good philosophy. It's a common reaction, however, to "get-out-if-I-ever-get-back-to even".
I think the technical indicators are extremely positive, the most positive they've been in a long time and we will see even higher prices soon.
Good luck. As long as your alternative investments work out for
you, you have no need to look back, no matter what BA does from
now on.
