speaking of articles in the SF Chronicle, did you see the one in today's Chron, the one about Internet posters being sued for defaming a publicly traded company on Yahoo?

Perhaps this quote from John Reed Stark, head of the SEC's Internet enforcement division (you know him already, don't you?) unit will have an interesting effect on Pink and his "operatives":

"Anytime you spread false information on the Internet, driving the stock up or down, it raises serious questions of possible market manipulation."

He is further quoted as saying that the SEC is "...investigating other similar allegations of possible stock manipulation by users of Internet chat rooms and message boards."
