lutz...welcome

the common thought on the thread is the dell practice of growing from within..they have expanded from pc's to servers and storage, still products in the same food chain...as rudedog eloquently points out, the dell internet play is purely self serving their own e-commerce requirements. i am a believer in dell and its capabilities to grow market share in their areas of expertise, but it is the expansion of business into the more profitable segments that i question...ibm,cpq,hwp are multifaceted and don't solely depend on hardware...i personally would like to see dell move swiftly the a purchase of a company with strong service revenues...myself, i like unisys....but just my humble opinion...regards, ed a.
