Rick,
I was under the impression that the perforating from one casing to the other to enable the mud to flow across would be done by explosives or is there some tool which does that job? I must admit that all of this (except the search for $$$ :)) is very new to me. There aren't too many gas wells spudded in the neighborhood of Canada's Parliament Buildings!

I would be interested to know the sequence of events once one decides that the casing is installed to depth and properly cemented.
