NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Amazon.com shares were lower in
Germany early Thursday, hurt by reports the company has filed to issue
additional debt and stock, London market makers said.

Elsewhere, U.S. PC makers were trading slightly higher and auto makers
were up.

Amazon (AMZN: news, msgs) was off 2 to 137
1/2, said traders at Madoff Investment Securities in
London. The company filed a shelf registration with
the Securities and Exchange Commission late
Wednesday for up to $2 billion in debt, common
and preferred stock.
