JB2, Maria or for that matter even Mary Meeker has not said anything that is new. Neither a characterization of Maria B. as the cheerleader for AOL is true. Let me tell you my story and I am sure the same is true for a lot of us.

I live in Silicon Valley and consider myself computer-savvy. I use AOL as access to the Internet from my home. However, I can also access Internet remotely via my company server. But I am still paying for AOL (21.95 a month) Why? One and only one reason. ICQ, and buddy list which is a darling of my family. They love it. E-Talk to cousins, family etc. Now remember all these folks are not computer savvy at all. But they know how to login, go to their favorite site etc. etc. Speed you ask? Well they are happy with what they have for now. So it is indeed a cyber community and a convenient one.

That's all my friend, let us see how much money we make on AOL today (no no no, not today but this year)

Long AOL RNWK DCLK

Regards
