Guess it depends on your benchmark: is it a Black suburb somewhere in the Bronx with a few foodstamps as freebies or is it Orange County, CA with a 24/7 electronic surveillance program? I mean, did you read O-Zone, a superb novel by American author Paul Theroux? If you did then let me reformulate my concern: we, benighted aliens, shall we be allowed to relocate in a glass-and-concrete tower in New York --cheek by jowl with the Albrights-- or shall we be dumped carelessly into... O-Zone??
