So where did the annual report say that they would do an IPO for sure without a doubt?

at this point Zeev ....but cmon now...surely as a small cap investor ( I take it you have been that from time to time) you know all about radar screens. The way that- if the company executes its strategy well - they progressively light up. 99.9% of investors right now ...and it is easy for many us all to forget this because we have become so involved in the unfolding story ....know nothing of Ampex, or if they do simply have a bitter aftertaste from the keepered media days.
For those presently involved, I agree that an IPO is at least partially priced in. But the good ol progression....hated it at 1.....liked it at 2 ....deeply fond at four .......happy to buy at 8.......ecstatic I found it so cheap at 12........delirious to get in at 17.......wow what a bargain at 25 etc. ....each step involving
a progressively larger and new found group of investors ....
There are risks here - I think we are all well aware of that. But that progression...IF it unfolds ( that will of course depend on how skillfully the company executes its extremely promising long range business plan)....is a daily occurrence in all markets - Wall Street often being the only store most everyone runs out of when everything is discounted. The crowds eagerly return when the prices rise.
As one investor, I am willing to take the calculated gamble that Ampex will, by and large, execute its business plan well ( the promising structure of it makes that much more likely than not to me)and that if the stock price does not rise all that much over the next year...it'll be purchased by some company with the eyes to see...at a much higher price then this. But those are just my dice on the table ( and perhaps only I think they are loaded)... each to his or her own decision.
