He heh.. I havent had that good a laugh in a long time. I suppose there will be an analyst who will proclaim that rapidly spiraling losses are a positive, and a reason to increase their price target by 100%. Why the hell not? Until the train goes over the cliff, they might as well drink all the tequila they can.

> What possible good news can there be ? exceeding all loss estimates ?

>>But how will they do that with increased loss estimates?

This is the question that separates the men from the boys. The women from the girls. The enlightened from the cementheads. Those who get it from those who don't. Those who have prospered here, those who haven't...

Focus on this question, and question if it matters.

I mean the story has gotten old. I don't expect much of a run to losses this qtr. What
possible good news can there be ? exceeding all loss estimates ? A new acquisition ?
warehouse ? The DLJ guy must think of himself as an idiot now for the 280 target. MS
does not have a buy on amzn (they have out-perform) even at this price.

Bezos said he just wants ten years to become profitable. He is not sure how profitable Amazon will be nor even the bottom line margins but he will decide that in ten years. It is good that many of the other internet firms, Amazon included, have sold off so they can make acquisitions with cash. Amazon has never acquired a firm with cash.

It appears in total Amazon wants fiftenn years to prove themselves. Not 5, 7, 10, 12 but 15. Sheesh by then GNET may be gone and how am I going to tell William I told you so? <G>
