To Byron and All!! Michael Dell Deliver or Resign

Well!! We could sell the stock?? Dell may really suck now and holding the stock we can give Michael Dell the founder of this once great company time to demonstrate and convince investors and analysts that this company is profitable and deserving of a much higher share price. If we are not satisfied we can kick his ass out just as Compaq did Pfeiffer and get a ceo like IBM's Gerstner who can deliver value and shareholder price performance. We can be forgiven during certain periods but in the end we are in this market investing community to make money not to wear ourselves out with a lot of silly and senseless cheer leading.

It is ultimately the Ceo's responsibility to deliver favorable results that please the shareholders. Has Michael Dell lost his touch?? Maybe and if so he will be given some time to turn things around or else he be given his walking papers.I don't give a damn about this company and its past performance. I am also tired of seeing those countless charts of Dell's past performance. Many of us were not invested in this company at that time. I care about its present status and what the company will be doing going forward. I am not hearing much of anything from Michael.

Many I spoke with was very disappointed by Dell just meeting the street expectations. My stock broker is trying to get me to sell all my shares. Michael was leading and implying many to believe that the results were going to be sensational. Mr.Dell should have know better than to just meet expectations while others around him were trancing them. I think he has shaken confidence in many as he caused short and long term shareholders cause for concern. Michael must learn the public relations game as perception is killing us right now. The General has fallen from his horse. Can he get back on and lead the charge again?? Show me the money or we should show Michael the door.

Best Wishes
Frank

Re: "What do all of you think about an extended trading hour for NASDAQ and NYSE. They are proposing a 5pm - 10pm eastern tim extended hour started some time in this summer."

CNBC said today that next Wednesday & Thursday are the meetings which will decide if and how the NASDAQ will extend it's trading. Stock play could be Instinet which is owned by RTRSY. NASDAQ $ NYSE may funnel their afterhour trades through them?

This from a Motley Fool May 5th report:

"Instinet Corp., a unit of Britain's Reuters Group PLC (Nasdaq: RTRSY) and the
dominant player in institutional trading of Nasdaq stocks known for its
"after-hours" trading for institutions, is looking to partner with online brokers to
offer trading to individual investors during and outside regular trading hours, The
Wall Street Journal reported"
