The Kuwaits were, "A", once Iraq territory,, "B" , drilling horizontally into Iraq oil fields, "C" Selling oil well over their Quota, (forcing down prices)--- A bunch of wealthy oil shieks who all fled to their foreign villas until the US freed it up for them ...

And we don't give 2 hoots about Kuwaitis--- Bush himself resented how wealthy they had become and promptly sent them the bill for their retun to power....

>>LOL! I suppose Saddam was just trying to "help" the Kuwaitis with their oil production, eh? I suppose Saddam was a veritable saint in Iraq. Guess thats why he has had an elaborate security mechanism and is constantly on the move, to avoid assassination<<

Didn't April Gillespie "sort of invite" Saddam to attack Kuwait, and hint that there would be no U.S. repercussions?

FWIW
