Actually, having a super-duper system is just the first step. The phone needs to be set up properly.

You may change or retest your setup at any time by clicking the 'Change Properties' button and selecting Settings/Setup Wizard.

Select 'Adjust' and set it for 'Best'. You should see a big improvement. My netphone works terrific.

On the contrary. I think if AOL for instance were to charge its 35 million instant message customers a flat fee of say $10 per month ffor free long distance and give IDTC even 1/2. We would be very happy with that new income of 175 million per month

Using Net2phone as a regular phone (5 cents a minute national, 10 cents Intl at least where I call) the quality is usually decent. Certainly fine for a conversation. Not quite as good as regular line, but almost.

Using computer to computer, quality is still poor any way you slice it
