Cosmo Daisey, as I understand it you don't.

Please support your allegations (1) about "a program that searches your hard drive and reports to the company using WAVX software the web sites you have visited is an invasion of privacy" and (2) that Wave "will sell the software to anyone who wants it and someone visiting a web site that employs the software would invade your privacy without your knowledge."

Please read wave.com.

I don't believe your representation of how the Embassy system works is an accurate representation of the facts. It does not report all your website visits to any subscribing websites.

It does (potetially) give a website you visit your name and address. Doesn't AOL know everywhere you've been? Aren't they helping police track people going to "bomb making" sights and the like? Where is the ACLU? Where is the outrage?

I will leave the technical accuracy of how Embassy works and what it actually reports to others more qualified. I'm sure you will get more responses.

One thing that has really been bothering me about you though. If you are indeed a student of WAVX, how could you possibly not know WAVX applied for NASDAQ listing 1/29/99. It has been a non-stop, constant topic for discussion on all boards that have a WAVE board. It sure makes me question your motivation. At the very least it makes me question how much true DD you have done. It appears to me that you merely skimmed the details and posted your 'informed' opinion.

Bottom line is yes I do think the issue will come up, but I don't think,it will be that big a deal. After all MC/VISA all have the same information and no one has a problem with that. And yes people do use their VISA/MC accounts on porno sites.

Just my opinion.

Herman

Cosmo Daisey, if that is your real name, I think you have made a serious mistake. You should know that you can't spread lies over the internet with impunity. Every internet communication leaves an ISP trail, and when you defame a company with the pack of lies you just told you could easily face litigation, not just from them, but also from any investors. If you told the truth, then get a good night's sleep. If not then you better start sweating.

Please tell me where you have heard about "a program that searches your hard drive and reports to the company using WAVX software the web sites you have visited", or that WAVX "will sell the software to anyone who wants it and someone visiting a web site that employs the software would invade your privacy without your knowledge."

EMBASSY [Wave's product, in case you were unaware of that] keeps your personal information resident on your computer/STB/SmartCard/[whatever platform you have purchased]. That personal information includes a line of credit [either through credit card authorization or pre-payment] and encryption key.

When you purchase something, either online or offline, from a Wave enabled vendor, EMBASSY is queried to verify that you have funds available. If you do, EMBASSY is used to decrypt the digital product you have just purchased. WAVE is the clearing house for that purchase.

They need to know how much of what you bought. If you prefer, you can prevent Wave from passing on who you are but, for obvious commercial reasons, they have to know WHAT you bought, and for how much, so they can pay the vendor.

They don't "sniff" URL's that you have visited, and they don't sell software that allows others to "sniff" URL's.

I realize that you may not care about any of this, but there may be some relatively new investors that read this board, and I'd rather they knew the truth, not the fabrications that you are spouting.

And no, I'm not going to threaten you with SEC or legal hassles, because, quite frankly, I don't think you are worth that much effort.

Tony.
