Why would the percentage change? Any shares presently owned are not registered. They do not have to actually have to have shares to own a majority of a private company only a contract that states the percentage. Even if they do own shares the registration could state that Ampex own's a majority of shares by splitting the old shares or simply throwing them out and reinstating Ampex with a majority amount. Those shares are not sold to the public. It is expected that the majority owner would get a percentage of the revenue of sales to the public often the same percentage as the ownership.

Of course they would probably decide on much less. But expect a majority of the profit from any ventures created from the cash.

Of course this could be negated by any law or regulation. If so please site the rule. I will try to look it up on gpo.gov
