Dale, I agree with you about L2 being absolutely necessary to trade Nasdaq stocks. I went for a time early this year without and it felt like I was trying to trade blindfolded. But I do think you make it sound a lot simpler than it is. One must spend some time and learn to recognize the wiggles, jiggles, and headfakes. If there is one MM on the bid for 100 shares, and 10 on the offer for 1000 to 5000, is the stock guaranteed to fall? Of course not, though it might seem that way to the uninitiated. That one MM might be taking in everything coming his way, while the only shares really for sale are visible. They know we're watching, and play games accordingly.
