Collin, Before you sell, go to the BANY/ANYI threads. They went through this exact same scenario some time ago. I don't think anyone here knows what the hell they are talking about. I wish I could point you toward a specific post, but I am still working on that myself. If I remember correctly in there case you had to to be a holder of record and hold through the xdiv date. I did by sheer luck and have my ANYI shares that has yet to go public. Seems to me the xdiv. date was around June of last year. I have to go but am going to look hard tonight. IN OTHER WORDS, if I sell TNRG today, May 21st, I still get the stock dividend. If I do not, TNRG will have a class action law suit filed post-haste. GOOD LUCK..........but I doubt you'll get anywhere with it. If you sold today the 21st, you are also SELLING your rights to the dividend. TNRG does NOT set the Ex Dividend date......SEC does. What the hell TNRG was guaranteed... I dont know and it looks more and more like neither did they. As an example........ETrade split is today after the close. If I bought 100 shares right now @108 who gets the split shares ? The guy who sold it to me ? .........I dont think so ! I may be wrong but I doubt it...... Monday the price would reflect the distribution and is anyone here going to tell me I just lost 50% of my trade ? come'on folks........nothing is given out for FREE ! if so, I got 10K shares of ETrade for sale.
