Although Y2K may, as you say, scare some investors, I think the fear is unwarranted. Suppose you have 100 Sun servers, have verified that they are Y2K ready, and need more capacity. Why would you hesitate to buy more of what you already have confirmed will work? Furthermore, I think McNealy said in last quarter's conference call that Sun isn't seeing any Y2K slowdown; that's good enough for me.
