re:Because the K7 is make-or-break time for AMD

The time to sell AMD stock is right before the market realizes that K7 will be priced against the high-end Celeron. Most likely $150-$200 when (if) there is volume. The funny part is some AMDites think AMD can actually fetch $450 for K7 desktop. <gg>

joey (who is enjoying his $15 basis in AMD stock)

Tench - RE: "I guess that's what happens when people look at the K7 like it's the
Second Coming, or people look at the K7 as yet another technology
that's DOA. No, it's not that Intel-a-bees are getting nervous (weak
INTC stock price notwithstanding). In fact, I think the AMD
supporters are just as nervous, if not more nervous. Why? Because
the K7 is make-or-break time for AMD, even if the real volumes
aren't coming until later."

Just curious, what do your fellow employees and bosses think about the unreleased K7?

Ten - Re: "Oh well, June is only a few weeks away."

June is only 1 1/2 weeks away.

I can't wait for AMD to launch the K7 and announce a profit for this quarter.
