I hope Captain Miller told Private Ryan to invest in war bonds and stay the hell away from NAVR unless he wants to spend half his life waiting on IPO date......

*OT* Lynn, while I can't remember it verbatim, if my memory serves me correctly Tom Hanks said something to the effect of "Live a worthwhile life", in essence saying he should make the sacrifice of all the lives that were lost for Private Ryan to be "saved" have some meaning. I believe this was what compelled the "older" Private Ryan to emotionally ask his wife (at the end of the movie when revisiting Normandy with his family) to 'tell me I've been a good man" i.e. reassure him that he was worthy of being saved. Powerful movie.
