Found this on Raging Bull....any comments?

<<<I am amazed at the number of pundits spouting about cable modem technology putting AOL out of business. The fact of the matter is there are only 12 million homes in the US that have the bidirectional hybrid fiber/cable infrastructure required to deploy cable modems. Furthermore the investment for this technology is going to be tremendous with the cost of new amplifiers for each passed home, and the upgrading of bidirectional coax for each house. Then the issue of "party line" useage as your neighbors join the cable fun, degrades everyones throughput.
There are a lot of issues that need to be addressed and IMO AOL will come out of the mix on top. For what its worth>>>>
