Rande, I appreciate your words of support. My situation is certainly not such that it can't be resolved. Just another minor set-back in the whole scope of things... a learning opportunity if you will. Not to go into too much detail, but when I initially entered the market last year my first purchase was not an OTC. I actually bot a cable company called TCTV (now FAVE) with the mentality that I would hold it until year end, or until it had moved significantly. I bot at $4.50 and not but two weeks later I got bored with it. Started reading individual stock threads and got caught up in the hype of some of them. Before I knew it, I sold FAVE at $5.25 and was purchasing OTC stocks in hopes of being on the right side of one of them huge percentage swings. (I didn't think 5-10 baggers were nearly as common on the big boards.) <sigh> I even bought MTEI (that's right, biggest scammie of the year) on the day they released that fraudulent PR (http://www.techstocks.com/~wsapi/investor/reply?s=mtei+subject24628&sreply=7349411). Ended up getting killed on that one. Bottom line... a combination of greed, ignorance, and a lack of conviction and patience (TCTV went to $25 in November) was ultimately my downfall. How does one eliminate ignorance? Become informed, and that is why I continue reading your thread and gathering knowledge diligently. Greed and conviction on the other hand is much more psychological. Your own level of greed is something I believe we should all remain conscious of (especially in a prolonged bull market), and is certainly something that I need to remind myself of on occasion. Conviction while trading mainly comes from the self-confidence you gain depending upon your own aptitude. If you don't believe in your own ability to make EDUCATED trading decisions, then how can you expect to be successful? One must be steadfast in his or her own convictions, yet continue to operate with objectivity. A sizeable task if you ask me. Anyway, now ya'll know where I'm coming from. I had considered sharing some of this info with a few of you in private, but I figured that would defeat the purpose. Not only is it important to me that my postings have context (sometimes called credibility), but perhaps more so, I need to be able to admit my faults openly in hopes that the difficulty in doing so will help prevent any further mistakes of this nature. Thanks for listening, Dave
