OT Vendit - Maybe I don't fully understand the "local programming" rule -- when the local affiliates are carried, what is that you can't receive ? I thought this would have a straightforward plus -- an addition, not a subtraction.

Yes, I did note yesterday your 'Dear Schmuck' letter -- wait 'til they hear from 'the wrath of Vendit.' Send them some 'appropriate' midi
accompaniments ! Better yet, as a GMH sh, let's hope the situation has a positive resolution.

Its all about local ad revenue.Thats the concession Direct TV is making in order to get local cable customers.If you live in area that cannot receive local programming you'll still get east@west coast feeds.
