OT: George,

I received a letter by mail from Direct TV yesterday and this is the over all message it contained.

This is an important notice about availability of broadcast network services to DIRECTV subscribers. These services include ABC(channels 295 and 296), CBS (channels 290 and 291), FOX (channel 297)and NBC (channels 292 and 293).

As a result of a settlement of a lawsuit, we may no longer provide you with these services by satellite. We must disconnect your ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC satellite services by June 30th. A law called the Satellite home viewer act allows us to deliver broadcast networks only to homes that are not served by local TV network affiliates. The standards we must use indicate that you are served by local TV stations and therefore not eligible to receive broadcast networks by satellite from us.

This is what I am miffed about.
