Petz - RE: "Thread, saw a Kryotech K6-3-550 system at Fry's on Friday. It was priced at average price of the Pentium III-550's they had. (~$2,500 as I recall)"

What is your estimate of how much the 1 GHz Kyrotech K7 system will cost?

<Kryotech K6-3-550 system at Fry's >

Kryotech now sells an add on cooler module for $350 for the K6-III.

John,

Thread, saw a Kryotech K6-3-550 system

This provides an interesting reference point for K7 MHz. Apparently Kryotech cooling can increase K6-III speeds by about 20%. Kryotech has already demonstrated a 1GHz K7 system. Does that imply that K7 speeds are headed for the 800 Mhz range?
