Les, I don't know what you majored in in college but out here the engineering depts are largely asian, then some whites and only a few black students. I mean largely asian - 70% or so? But then, when you get into industry very few asians make it to engineering management or ceo. Jerry Yang from yahoo is one, then there was Wei Yen from Silicon Graphics I remember. Personally, I don't think this is discrimination I actually think its performance. Therefore, I agree that the standardized tests need revamping. We need the schools to reflect real life engineering talent, imo.
