Good eye and a nice way to see what's going on. I'll have to explore this technique some more.

To carry this one step further... if the market IMMEDIATELY reverses then it is time to reverse. This trade should be a consistent 4pt winner. The way to spot this would be on the 5 min bars. The reversal bar would have to equal the "stop run" bar.

Check it out and see if this is true or not.

Interesting charts, thanks.

I notice that the label is Actual Contract Volume. Is that right? I don't get actual volume.

I have the older edition of Edwards and Magee. Tried to read it through about 8 years ago. Makes a nice doorstop now. Much too dry for me.
