I have accounts with five different brokerage firms. And what does it matter if I rec'd notice regarding the cusip or name change anyway. I am not disputing that this happened on March 9th. But, what about the name change. Did your broker notify you in October that the company underwent a name change as they claimed in their PR's? When I sold my shares months after this, they were still under the name of Purewater and not PanAmerican. Funny thing is, I noticed that on the OTC-BB site the day of the official change, March 9, 1999, they also had Purewater as the current name.

Yep. I got mine as well in the mail. Can't give you a date though without rooting through all my "stuff".

I don't think it is a broker thing (although I'm not totally sure). Mine (both my regular broker and my online broker) always send me these things, so I thought all brokers did. Figured it was the law.
