Just an aside. I am starting to wonder what impact customer service will have on the future of our company. I called for tech support this weekend and got no help at all. I would have paid anything to solve the little network problem that I was having. Support was arrogant and of no help.

I replaced the network card (machine is less than a year old) and discovered that Dell had shipped my machine with no drivers for either win 95 or 98... the closest thing on the Dell discs was windows 3.1. The identical card sold by 3-com has all the drivers necessary to solve my problem.

At some point in time.. this will translate to the consumer and it will hurt.

Between the nasdaq and the Computer sector we are in serious trouble. The nasdaq can't find its legs and Dell continues to make lower lows and lower highs each day. This is a real bad short term sign. It doesn't change my views on this company long term but short term...it's painful!
