agree...fear is of that which we know not of...as it short term market gyration...instead of selling or shorting, consideration should be given to ditm leap calls as stock replacements, especially for those on margin and with a paper loss position on the underlying...good luck, ed

Right, the only way to get by in this market (and life) is to prepare for the good and the bad. Make sure that money in the market is not money that you need right away. For example I keep some funds in a bank making the fabulous return of 3%. It's enough to replace a diswasher, or a car, or fly around the world if I had to. It's at the bank because if it were in the money market I might be tempted to snap up some of these incredible can't lose deals. In the mean time I'm prepared to bury my head in the sand until the next millenium. The real promise of the information age has not come close to being realized and the real key IMO is to be in the market when it happens.

TP (Cost basis ~$5.00 which helps preserve my sanity)
