I just doubled my CMTO holdings. Bought at 17 5/16. Lots of big blocks going thru, great time to buy IMO.

Is there some bad news we don't know about?

Why is CMTO being beaten so badly today?

I hate it when I decide to take a 23% loss to funded the purchase of an immediate 15% loss. Am I missing something here?

What if the CTO change was for a non business related personal reason that had nothing to do with the technology?

Why would a margin comment about 39% versus 38 to 39% have this kind of effect?

I am going to the garden. I just don't understand.....

Later, Dennis

Candace:

At present & for the foreseeable future, cable Internet access will be marketed & provisioned primarily for the residential market. The article you reference here & on other boards concerns primarily the market for SDSL, which is primarily marketed & provisioned for the business market.

It is unlikely that issues regarding the adoption of standards for symmetric DSL will have a material impact on the market for asymmetric service in which cable providers & modem manufacturers like CMTO compete with ADSL providers & their appurtenant equipment manufacturers.

The bottom line here is that CMTO's market cap has been decimated in recent weeks & that the news you provided has little if any consequence on CMTO's fortunes.

I apologize for the dose of reality, but you have posted this news all over the Net & I thought you might be reading too many "fuzzies" into it. Sorry.
