Art, ZITL was pumped up by Emerald Research from low single digits to 70s based on its ownership in Matridigm, a Y2K software company which had few employees. At the time of its peak, ZITL/Matridigm had not released its product. They had practically no revenue and no customers for its Y2K product. But there was a lot of hype on the size of the market etc..., On the day of the massacre (Dec 31, 96), ZITL hit a high of 73 (giving ZITL a MC of $1B) and closed at 41. I remembered that day because I had my first ever short and a sweet one.

Regards,

Tom
