Banchee, you know I follow my convictions, so I made sure that these mini crashes in the market can't hurt too badly. I must have traded HAUP a dozen times today. And I think that a few shares of PTEK held long enough will serve us well. . . Made the daytrade money, now playing the position. I'm not confident that BKS will work tomorrow, best to save for Thursday, IMO. If DLJ comes out tomorrow, it will be a disaster. Already it is a joke. . .how many more shares did they add to the offering in the final hours? Then it is a tracking stock. . .you own NOTHING. . .no piece of DLJ. . .no voting rights. . .nothing. . . and DLJ can vote to do whatever they wish to the tracking stock at any time in the future, with no say by holders of the new DLJ IPO tracking stock. . whatever they are calling it. Gee, I'll bid a nickle a share for it. . . but not much more than that. . .cuz I don't think it is worth it. Especially in light of the fact that DLJ's 3 percent market share has been steadily declining, their software often does not work correctly and on super high volume days, like we had earlier this year, they are unreachable, via the net or by phone. By contrast, Schwabb carries a 27 percent market share and ETrade about 17 percent. I am still looking to jump back into HAUP tomorrow for another run. . .the shorts still don't understand low float momos. . .which are the only kind I like. . .and are becoming my specialty for momos. Shorts were shaken today. . .they had no idea what hit them. . .shorting 19 one minute and seeing it at 35 the next. Really something to watch. Far safer on the long side of a low float momo, IMO. BDE looks nice and stable. . . Rande Is
