Rande, With the summer coming on, the i/nets selling off, Tech weaker every day, and mega profits from the above mentioned in our pockets, the question becomes, where do we put those profits? Energy sectors are very dependent on Asian and S. American recoveries along with OPEC (nahh). Gold can't get out of it's own way. Pundits seem to feel mid/small caps have value . A great economy, near full employment, and disposable incomes rising. I've been looking for a play that would benefit from this environment, in a sector that is not overbought. I did several searches, fundamentally and technically. One search yielded a stock that has everything I was looking for:DANB May 18, 1999 17:16 Dave & Buster's shares to list on NYSE DALLAS, May 18 (Reuters) - Dave & Buster's Inc., a restaurant and entertainment chain, on Tuesday said its common stock will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "DAB". The Dallas-based company said its stock had been trading on Nasdaq under the stock symbol "DANB" since June 1995. The NYSE has informed the company that it meets all the established listing criteria. Dave & Buster's expects to begin trading on the exchange June 4, it said. "We have enjoyed a tremendous amount of growth during our four-year span on Nasdaq, where we're proud of a track record that always met the market's expectations," said Dave & Buster's co-founder, Dave Corriveau. The company, founded in 1982, now has 19 locations throughout the United States with plans to open four new stores in 1999 in St. Louis; Austin, Texas; Jacksonville, Fla., and Providence, R.I. The company also operates two Dave & Buster's in the United Kingdom through a licensing agreement with Bass Plc. Business Summary DANB operates 19 large format, high volume Reataurant/Entertainment complxes that offer food and beverage items combined with entertainment attractions such as pocket billiards, shuffleboard, interactive simulators, virtual reality systems and carnival style games. For the FY ended 1/31/99, revenues rose 42% to $182.3M. Net income rose 53% to $13.6M. Results reflect new stores opened and lower S/G/A expenses as a percentage of revenue. Mkt. Cap.
