Don't agree with you!

Paul Allen is GNET's only hope.

Paul Allen did not get GNET where it is today, GNET has done it on their own. Don't you think the Go2Net and SI staff deserve the glory for creating this site as we know it today? Paul Allen has had nothing to do with it. Paul Allen's VV will help carry GNET through the future.

Moreover, consider that SI will not be as valuable as more and more people subscribe. It will begin to look more and more like the YHOO boards.

I can't imagine SI ever looking like the garbage of the Yahoo boards. Not only has SI staff been the utmost quality and have maintained the threads to the best of their ability, the quality of posters on SI far exceeds that of Yahoo.

I completely disagree.

The reason I "hang" on the SI boards is that over the past 3+ years, this board has developed into an incredible resource for newbie investors.

I can't even begin to start relating the education that participating here on SI has provided me, both positive and negative.

It is that community of "mature" cyber-investors who are SI's greatest resource. They tutor and assist others who are new to the markets, keeping the level of quality analsysis far above the hype and BS. New members are normally quietly taken to task by the "old hands" when they get out of hand.

Yahoo is unmoderated and unmonitored, while we still have SIBob... (No offense implied Bob, just a fact... :0)

Just my opinion.

Ron
