Go2Net Enters Internet's Top 20
Go2Net Network Reach Increases 36 Percent From January-April
SEATTLE, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Go2Net, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNET - news), a network of branded, technology- and community-driven Web sites, today announced that the Go2Net Network's reach grew by more than 36 percent from January through April of this year, facilitating Go2Net's first entry into the Top 20 Digital Media/Web Properties, as measured by Media Metrix. The measurement firm ranked the Go2Net Network number 19 in reach among home/work users in April, compared to a number 24 ranking in January. According to Media Metrix, the Go2Net Network's reach grew by 11 percent from March to April, a time period in which nearly every major Internet portal lost traffic or remained flat.

''We're pleased with Go2Net's continued progress, but remain focused on the work at-hand to become a Top 10 destination by the end of calendar year 1999,'' said Russell C. Horowitz, Go2Net chief executive officer. ''To that end, we'll continue to aggressively grow the Go2Net Network's existing sites and make select acquisitions to enhance our current properties or enter complementary new categories.''

GNET >>> Management says >> Goal is to be "First 10 Most Visited" by

Year End 1999. This is great news as most of the time GNET management does not publicly discuss what are they aiming for.

Cheers.

Just my views.
