Frank, go take a walk or something. The whole market
just blew up, have you viewed any Nasdaq charts?
M. Dell lost a whole lot more money today than you did.
If people call their broker and sell Dell, it's their
loss, and certainly not M. Dell's fault... he didn't
hold a gun to their heads. A press release saying:
"we just grew revs, EPS, Net Income all at 41+ %"
probably wouldn't help either - he JUST DID THAT!

Michael Dell and Dell Computer have done great. It is absurd to blame Michael for not saying something to goose the stock. The stock is coming down to reality. The company did great last quarter. It is gaining market share. Its PE was way too high and probably still is.

Frank,..Re:. How many of you are fed up with this daily continued selling of Dell?

Frank, get a grip, the whole market is selling-off and it's not caused by Dell. If you would look at some charts, you'd see that the high tech, high PE stocks have been selling since around the 1st of April when the value/cyclical fad started.

If you are not on margin, or trading, you should be fine. Try to keep the big picture in mind, i.e what goes down must eventually go back up.<g>

Regards,

Lee

While you are at it, write a letter to the US congress asking them to ban market declines, by law. -g-

Hi Frank, how about Eckhard?

He has the vision to build a $50B company, just not the company.

Frank. Take a deep breath and ask yourself who got Dell where it is today. Ask some more questions. What do you think would happen to the stock if MD were to resign or be fired? What has changed fundamentally with Dell in the past few months? Do you expect Dell to go up in the face of a three day 200 point Naz sell-off? Do you feel that Dell is a bargain at these levels? Do you believe MD (or anyone else) could make Dell's stock price go up in this market?

If you are on margin and worried about a call, take a hard look at your portfolio and make some decisions that will relieve the pressure,(particularly your blood pressure<ggg>). Please don't get me wrong, I don't mean to "dis" your frustration. Just suggesting you channel it productively somehow, and not by calling for the head of the "one what brung ya". Good luck and aloha.

This is utterly amazing. DELL encounters a plateau period in the stock, after the greatest sustained run in an individual stock in the last decade (maybe several decades) and people are calling for a new leader. If you look up "short-sighted" in the dictionary you may well see a picture of this poster! Get some perspective man. A stock can't go straight up forever, even if God himself is at the helm. Michael Dell ought to be allowed to be CEO until he dies as far as I'm concerned. He originated it all at DELL, and has presided over the entire run up in DELL stock. Fire DELL? Gimme a break.

You have blood in your hands, punk. You want to axe Miltie Dell, the Federal Reserve chair and analysts whenever the markets tank.

You need a lot of help. Go see your psychiatrist for therapy and get refills for your medications. Better yet, have yourself committed where you can't touch a PC keyboard. Equities are not for you.
