OT: Morgan, I admire your trading bravado and capacity. I don't have a trader's personality...a buy and hold investor. Shorting is something I've never done, though clearly it would have been a great idea lately, and seems almost a sure-thing after an IPO runup. Look at Healtheon, back down to 70.

I tried Datek for awhile but had similar problems. In fact, I bought twice as many shares of CMGI as I meant to, because the first order supposedly did not go through and I put it through again--but both went through. In retrospect I'm glad; even with current plummet I'm still way ahead; but at the time I bought I was upset! So after that I left Datek for Fidelity, which never has a problem executing and allows me all varieties of option trading.
