<OT>Jill, unless one is willing to turn one's life over to trading, it's best to be a buy and hold investor. You are far wiser than I am (and pay less in taxes<ggg>).

IMO, you have to have at least 2-3 brokers. I do most of my daytrading through a dedicated daybroker (Cyber), and position trade through Datek. I do options through TradeStar, and keep my investment non-trading portfolio at Regal (BTW, PFE is beginning to look good again - down by a third from it's high!).

I'm intrigued by Fidelity, I've heard good things about them, as I have about Brown. I'm thinking of quitting Datek - my nerves can't take it.

Good luck!
