Chip - if one compares the SPX with the DOW from about March 24, the DOW has a lot further to fall to be in step with the SPX. However, if the DOW continues down and drags the SPX with it, we'll see 1260 pretty quick and possibly cave in to the 1220-1240 range as you say.

I think we might have bit of a bounce tomorrow. Doubt if those NASDAQ market makers will let this go much lower, unless they really got their shorts well established.
