bp,

Wow, what a post! All in Bold no less! I sold off the rest of my Dell when CNBC started telling everyone yesterday how they were about to break through the 200 DMA. I figured that made it a given. <g> Dell has grown like 10,000% since 1990, and it's still kicking everyone's butt, and now they want to get rid of Michael because he's not talking to the press enough? Brutal. Unfortunately, even though the company will still continue to kick tushie, and will be THE leading vendor soon, the perception is that the PC companies are fading, and you can't fight that for now. It'll take a while before everyone realizes that all these new opportunities for internet devices are opportunities for the PC companies as well. It'll also be a while before everyone realizes that cell phones aren't going to cut it for Internet access and productivity (except talking) until they start putting cell phone capabilities into palmtops, handhelds, etc.

Well, they just came and took away my soapbox. They said they'll bring it back when I've calmed down. <G>

Dave

That guy is the quintessential short termer with no perspective. Fire Michael Dell, get real!
