Sears is a dinosaur. They can't sell online (or in catalogues) at a discount to their retail prices.

Sears model was built on lack of communication infrastructure. Rural customers, etc.

Glenn and others: Is it possible that AMZN is considering establishing
its own delivery operations at least to selective markets. It may sound far fetched but why else would AMZN be establishing so many distribution centers. AMZN comments that the increased outlets will
allow more expeditious deliveries. However, with USPS priority mail
deliveries being made in two days anywhere in the country what difference does it make if AMZN has one or twenty one outlets ? Could it be
that Fed Ex, USPS and other delivery companies are planning a sharp increase
in delivery charges ?

where the outlets are located ? Thanks for your comments.
for shipments made within the state where the outlets are located ?
Thanks to everyone for your comments.
